Swimmingly

All going very well on day 1.5 in the big Equator house. Even getting used to being back on Windows again. Lots and lots to enjoy here but I think I can sum it up by getting you to look at the people I’m working with now. It’s very exciting to be working with a whole team of people who use the Internet and not just talk about it.
I’m loving being the new boy.

Hi Stewart…
have missed a lot of things happening to you of late, so trying to catch up. Great news, for you, I think, about your career move. Good to hear all is going swimmingly…
I can really identify with your blog about your last day and missing the people. I am seriously contemplating leaving a job I’ve been doing for 10+ years, where I have had the opportunity to lead and influence a lot of people. Unfortunately, it’’s more of a negative situation. Don’t want to leave, but can’t work under the conditions that have been established by the current leadership for last 2 years, and no change appears in the horizon for that. Gut wrenching decision really….hate to leave and let down so many people that have been passionate about what we were trying to do…not to mention the fact that my leaving could create a mass exodus….not sure how or when I will deal with it, but the decision to leave has take a HUGE weight off my shoulders. Slept better in last month that I have in last 2 years.
Well, enough of that…Cheers!
Not sure if this will let me post, but just in case…you sound happy, and I’m very glad of it, shug.
‘Glad it’s going so well. ‘Twas a bold move to make. Often these decisions come good in the end. See you ’round Stewart.
