Facebook is sooo much better. And those apps that you can't be bothered with? I think they're fun, but no way, NO WAY am I going to be a pirate.

I only have a MySpace page and that was mainly because it connects me with bands and comedians who keep me informed of their gigs'n'stuff and do entertaining blogs and bulletins. I like it for this. I do have a select few social friends there too.

I made an effort to present my page with interests/occasional blog /lots of info/pics about me, but doubt many people really care to look or read; certainly I don't get many comments and I'm not good at pimping myself. Hence I really have not ventured to Facebook and probably won't do so. For the first time a few days ago I thought about deleting my MySpace page. I don't think I will though, but i don't log in every day anymore.

One of the first crossovers into adulthood is when we stop smiling as big as we can in photographs and start worrying about how we look. I envy that little boy for still smiling so big :)

P.S. I forgot to add that that is an awfully cute little boy in the picture. What a mop of hair! :-)

Well, I am relieved to know that I am not the only one who has gotten tired of MySpace. It is rather interesting how quickly that happened - I've only had an account since early this year, and then quit posting before the summer began. I have not tried Facebook; I may not - I am already too busy right now. However, perhaps it might be something to try when things slow down a bit. I am always up to reconnecting with my friends - if any of them are on Facebook - we'll see.

You know, I never thought I would agree with you on anything, but I find I feel much the same way ~ Not only is the novelty wearing off, but in truth ~ so much of myspace is annoying because it is hard to read and/or see so many of them! The crazy backgrounds, and all the flashing, and ... I pretty much have given up on it.

I'm liking Facebook better, the applications are far easier for those of us (moi) that are challenged about such things. Thus far, I chosen to only add people I know though, mostly through the old biscuit days ~ and from there, maybe their friends? **shrug** who knows?
