Inspired

The lovely Steph pointed this wee note out to me last Thursday while we were walking on Sauchiehall Street. It was next to a shop with a six foot sculpture of a creature from Alien.
As she knows me so well Steph knew that I’d want to take a picture. And blog it. I found the note to be a really sweet and brave thing to do and I hoped that Elena found her man.
So intrigued was I that I decided to call her later to see if she had any joy. We had a wee chat and she sounded very hopeful and positive that she would find her lovely man. I hope she does too. I’m going to call her tomorrow to see if her last ditch attempt worked. Good luck lady, good luck!

I agree….a very courageous young lady- and I would say you are too for calling her to get the story. It’s amazing the “small” things you see….I suppose they are happening all the time around us, if we just take the time to look. You inspire me to stop and look Stewart….thanks for that.
This is why I really like coming here and reading your blog Stew - I find it inspiring what you experience and document here. It’s great seeing how ’strangers’ interact. I am very shy in public and would probably never venture to do anything like this, but it is great to read about, thank you.
I don’t know what to say. Anything to be said about bravery and foolishness and faith is in the note and the photo of the note.
I want to believe that this will have a happy ending. I always hope this.
Glad you captured this Stewart. It is now immortalized in ones and zeros and will live on when Elena, her dream man, and their children have passed on.
peace
It’s so romantic, not to sound gushy, sorry, but it is. Thanks for sharing this Stewart, and i think it’s cool that you called her and got an update. I wonder if anyone else that saw her note that day did too. Hope she has found what she’s looking for. -K x
I’m glad you called her, that was a nice thing to do. I hope things work out happily for her.
Bravery can be found in the most unexpected places…along with hope. Along with everyone else here who has already posted, I hope for a good ending to this story. Did you phone her again to see how it turned out?
Thanks for sharing this.
