Another of the good things about having music back in my home is that my kids are loving it too. Jake in fact can hear a song and then sing it back to me pretty quickly and I love it when he just kicks off. Esp on the bus as he did last week much to everyone’s amusement. Here he is singing Treehouse by I’m from Barcelona…
And Chickenpox by the same band…
I am a very geeky, very sad dad….

- Experiencing TrainFail. On the bus home listening to Stevie Wonder. Innervisions is a wonderful adventure in stereo. Best album of the 70's?

Awwwww what a cutie. And no sweetie you are not a very geeky, very sad Dad, you are a proud dad and that is so very, very sweet. *hugs you*
You are not geeky at all, and if loving your children, playing with them and having fun is geeky, then fly your geek flag high, Stewart. You go guy! Mwah!- Kathleen xx
Awww that’s really good! How old is Jake again? No shame in being a geeky/proud dad. Many children should be so lucky!

What a cutie!! Little kids are so uninhibited. Don’t worry about being a proud dad, Stewart. (I did the same kind of thing when I sent my daughter’s artwork around in a bulletin on MySpace.) I think there would be something very wrong if we weren’t proud of our children. I think it shows what a good dad you are, and hey, there is nothing wrong with being geeky.
From a fellow geek,

How adorable! He’s such a handsome, bright lad - how can you NOT be proud of him? Even I was beaming like an indulgent Grandma!
I really needed that smile today. I can’t wait to show Gene. And BTW: Thanks for sharing something so personal with us.
You are not geeky. You are not sad. IMO you’re a wonderful dad. Any man who spends time with their kids is a real treasure, and you so obviously adore your boys. I love it when we see this side of you. Your boys are so precious, and quite obviously bright as well as being just good-looking kids in general. So dote on them all you want. As a parent of an adult child, let me assure you that you’ll turn around one day and those precious little boys will be men, and you’ll wonder how it could have happened so quickly.
The great part about that is grandkids. They don’t call them grand for nothing.
ps
grand daughter Layla goes for her finals for a modeling gig this spring. Cross your fingers!
He is so adorable
And quite the little singer!
That is fabulous! He looks about the same age as my son, but my son would be a total dork doing squishy faces at the camera. Enjoy being the “geeky” Dad and hanging out together while you can…the day will come soon enough when he’ll want to hang out with his friends instead. I am totally in line with you in geekdom though, some times you just have to get a little silly!
I just love those videos, Stewart. He is so absolutely adorable. and not camera or song shy at all. Love his little attitude and gestures. You should be proud. Thanks for sharing. Made me smile big time!!!! -Kathleen x
I have to echo what has already been said…he’s a cutie! As for the “geeky and sad” Dad bit…it’s your right as a proud papa to show off your kids. LOL I agree with “Agnes”…too soon will come the day when they will all be off preferring to spend the bulk of their time with friends instead of parents. We must sieze the days while we have them! : )
Awwww. I know I’m late with this comment, and I don’t even know if you get alerted to new comments )esp from old posts!) but I just cannot resist saying that Jake is absolutely adorable, and you are not a sad Dad, but a wonderful Dad. Both your boys are adorable and be prepared for some heart-break occurences in years to come!
