Congrats

One of biscuitmedia’s favourite clients, Billy Boyd, celebrated the birth of his first child yesterday. All of us here at biscuitmedia wish Billy, Ali and young Jack all the very best. Good work muckers!

Podcast Crazy Chicks

Steph and Claire upstairs have been pestering me non-stop today about the power of the podcast. Steph has been feverishly digging out stats on podcast adoption left, right and centre. It looks like we’ll be doing a podcast for a couple of upcoming clients. Those girls, they just can’t get enough. After all if it’s good enough for Jamie Oliver

Cool Ecosse?

We’re doing a wee project at work just now about Scotland and its cool factor. Does it have cool, is it a good or bad thing to have cool and what makes a country cool? Is it the arts that make a place cool, the people, the ‘vibe’? What is the vibe? All this has come from our Executive (the Scottish parliment) announcing Scotland as the ‘best small country in the world‘. Although others could say different

Any thoughts?

Jesus Loves Porn Stars

And so do I.

It’s proving that ‘Jesus Loves Porn Stars‘ is a difficult phrase to sell. It’s a great looking website and some of the content is amazing. It opened our eyes to Dave the Horn Guy and the ‘Perversion for Profit’ videos. Class.

Amazingly the American Bible Association don’t want to print these bibles. While I’m probably not heading for a Porn Free 2006 I accept these guys going for it in a fresh way.

Up, Up and Away

biscuitmedia’s friends at Amaranth Entertainment, purveyors of fine In-Flight Media, have moved to their swanky new offices at Penn Plaza.

They should be very proud of themselves. I remember Michelle’s birthday party in NY very well, still can’t face a strawberry diaquiri and I believe they still talk about my NY singing debut and how I graciously walked that lady to her cab. Oh yes.

Like Building Websites? In Glasgow?

We’re looking to employ page builder here at biscuitmedia. The job is to support the design process in taking the designs then making them into websites. Use of Adobe tools (inc. the Macromedia Studio Suites) is vital as well as a sound knowledge of CSS.

Plenty of scope to do your own thing here at biscuitmedia over time. A great chance to learn things and to be involved with a great team doing great, creative work for clients who want the best. Interested?

Drop me a line at stewart@biscuitmedia.com and I’ll send over a full role profile.
