One For the Boys

I like this, I’d play it. It’d be great when pissed. Not that I get pissed you understand.

Seventh Heaven?

Downloaded and installed the new beta for Internet Explorer 7 today and I’m enjoying the experience esp. the way that it’s handling the RSS feeds that I read and drool over on a daily basis.

I like the way that you can enlarge text without breaking the page. The interfce takes a little getting used to but it’s cool. It all seems to be standards compliant which is a great leap forward.

Looking good, the RSS feed is enough for me to shift from Firefox. Let’s see how it ends up.

Splash

Pile of new websites lauched in the l;ast wee while. The first is the redesign for Langs Hotel in Glasgow. We also lauched the Visible Fictions website which is pretty sweet too. Finally the new website for Peak Scientific which went live just yesterday.

All good.

I Can’t Get Behind This

Guiness have launched a new way to enjoy stout at home. It’s called  Guiness Surger and it seems way, way, way too much like hard work for me. You can only get it in certain shops and frankly when I go round to friends house for  beer we want to get hammered rather than get involved in some weirdy science experiment. My drinking’s a hobby, not a gimmick. Tsk.

Bouncy

A quick link to my brother who has started up his own bouncy castle hire company in Glasgow. Annoyingly I’m not allowed to have a go on them as they are only for ‘kids’. Tsk.

Good luck wee braveheart!

Spending Time With Us

TV is dead! Well, it’s not too well. This Internet usage report details that people in the UK are usig the Internet more than they watch TV. It doesn’t say if this is just a leisure activity or if it includes time at work which, for me, would explain the increase in time spent on-line. Still it’s an interesting stat.

It’s The Way It Is

I’ve never been too keen on the packaging of the Microsoft range of products and this little video demos really well how a few great ideas to ’sell’ a product on the supposed benefits can turn a simple concept into a work of hell. It’s funny cos it’s true. Ipod boxes rule but not like this.

Hot or Not?

This Virtual Earth thing is interesting but is it useful? Another example of Ajax in action.

Mad March Hares

March, here already. Wow.

Well it’s a cool month for cool things. The film of one of my favourite books, V for Vendetta, is out on the 17th. It’s looking for cool and as long as they do’t show V’s face I’m cool. I like nat too. The trailers look great and it’s had some positive press. I’m going to see this with Mr Mulvey. It’ll be like a date! But it won’t be.

Lots and lots of 360 games coming out. I’m mad for the Burnout.

Do yourself favour and buy the Shat’s album. It is really special. It’s what I’m listening too a lot at the moment.

We will be pushing t least three websites this month. All looking coolio.

More. As I get it.
