Live is Good

This is my Xbox Live card that tells all about the games, rep and achievements that I’ve got while playing my Xbox 360.
I’m loving this kind of commuity buildig on-lie, it’s more than just playing games, it’s cred, it provides good on-line relatios based on the player rep score, it’s very cool.
It’ll be interesting to see how the Live service expands over the next few years, I’ve got some ideas and I’m excited about the introduction of the webcam in the next few months and how that will affect the community.
Also thinking on how this inter-service offering will expand, for example while you’re online with Live, you’re not on the Internet as such but you can gain access to your stats on the Internet. It’s very clever.
Now if I could just beat Zuma….

A stupid and as random as this sounds, but with an x-box 360, any chance the controllers are a wee bit smaller?! The old x-box was, well, good, but the controll was so big!!
And, with an x-box 360, are old x-box games still compatable with the new system in the way PS was with the new PS2?

Hi Charlie,
The controller is the smaller than the original Xbox controller, more the size of the S-type controller for the Xbox.
Some Xbox games can be played on the 360, for me it’s a bit of an issue as I can’t get Pirates to work on my 360. You can view a full list of compatible games at http://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm.

Well, you know that’s good. I might have chance of holding it now!! I really really want to play GTA on the 360 or some of the Splinter Cell stuff. I have a normal x-box, and I gave Silent Hill 4 a try, but it was a strange format–it was different to the other types. Very strange.
Thank you for the list. I’ll be looking out for a 360 in a few months, when either the prices come down or I can find a decent second-hand one. I hope your issue of Pirates is resloved too, no-one should be without it. I understand how upsetting it could be..
