Well, earlier today you wanted a gun — now you get a gun and a wetsuit.
Things have been so hectic at bm that I’ve been lacking in my blog entries. I can only apologise. So what’s been going on?
In the outside workld Adobe finally took over Macromedia and I did have a nonsense lump in my throat when I went to the Macromedia homepage to see that the Adobe logo was in place. It’d all good and hopefully we’re doing some sweet stuff next year thanks to that merger.
I was given access to the next version of Hotmail and it’s amazing how the web interface is so very like the desktop version of Outlook 2003. It’s still an e-mail client though but the usability is very cool.
I finally joined up with del.icio.us and have started adding my bookmarks. As soon as the service is back up I’ll post my links to that website.
I’m eating a very nice cookie.
Today I’ve been recording the video for the Langs website. It’s been on the boil for a while but it’s looking good for the early part of the new year.
What else?
I saw reindeer yesterday and they just look like dogs with antlers.
We launched, sort of, a new design for Simul8. We didn’t build the website but we did provide them with the design templates. It’s pretty.
We’re working on a few new websites, one for a credit card information site, another for a lovely company called Peak Scientific which is very exciting. We’re also planning to do some more work for API and the list goes on. At this time of year we’re also doing a few e-mail Christmas cards, all good.
We have a new face in the team too, Marc Love, developer to the stars. You can find out more about him on our ‘About Us’ page by clicking on his No. 23 shirt. It is all sadly true what the intro says…..
I’m about to go into another in a series of important meetings. While I’m waiting I thought it would be good to do a quick update.
I also had my birthday and I would wholeheartedly recommend getting Nigel Slater’s new book, The Kitchen Diaries: A Year in the Kitchen. It’s very, very good both in terms of the recipes and also the fact that it’s a good read too.
John Spencer, who played White House Chief of Staff Leo McGarry, died on Friday. I loved him as an actor, he was great in ‘The Rock’ and simply brought Leo to life in The West Wing. Bartlet for America is one of my favourite episodes of the West Wing and John won the Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series. Well deserved. Like others, I will miss him.
Going out for dinner tonight with a friend and I’m very, very, very much looking forward to it as we’ve not been out just us for sometime, too long in fact. I’m sure we’ll swap some West Wing moments too. Big block of cheese.

You’re forgiven.
I’d like you to consider doing an audio blog. Not that there’s anything wrong with your typing or foreign spelling but because I’d lurve to hear that accent. Just a thought.
Happy Holidays (don’t hate me for not saying Christmas - I’m trying to be politically correct, but you know, damned if you do and damned if you don’t…)
Well, it’s about damn time!!!
Hope you had a lovely birthday! You know, one of those that will show up next month on your credit card statement, yet you’ll have no recollection of it whatsoever…
Cheers and Happy Christmas!!!
Love and Kisses,

First, Happy Hogmanay!!! And a belated happy birthday, too!

It was tough on Julie. He was breach and a c section was done but both are fine. The little blonde one is Taylor, who used to call Pippin “Pimpin”, very hard to explain that to strangers. The one in red is Ariel and the one in blue is Layla. The one in diapers is Donovan Lee Crawford II. Glad I popped in and thanks for the update!
Well, that went well. Sorry about that.
Happy (belated) New Year to bmg and Biscuit Media! May the New Year bring you some cool website “toys” and many new clients.
