Loved that jumped the shark thing! I do have a few probs with Lost. I still love it, but, yeah... For one thing, I don't like Jack. For me, he's one of those characters your supposed to like, but don't. I'd love to add to that jump the shark thing on a few points, as well. For one thing, Charlie's resurrection was just wonked to hell and gone. He might have gotten a cracked sternum out of that chest-pounding thing, but that's about it. Plus Locke is making glue out of pig fat? No, you make lard out of pig fat. You make glue from skin, hooves and bones. And Kate can track a wild pig, while Sawyer can't? Get real. Sawyer is from the south, which is crawling with feral hogs. And Sawyer didn't get that accent in Atlanta. But, like I said, I still like the show.

60th wedding anneversary, wow! Good to see people sticking it out. It can be done, but people are forgetting how, I think. Me, I've been with the same man since '72. And it has been worth it. Congrats to the "newlyweds"! That just rocks.

Donovan and Julie had a co-ed baby shower. I highly recommend it. Steamed oysters and flowing liquor (not for the mom, though) insured a good time was had by all. The cake said "Daddy finally put the stem on the apple", which was very well recieved. Julie has a childhood friend who is, shall we say, not the sharpest knife in the drawer. When told the baby shower was co-ed, she said, and I quote, "That's the baby's name?"

Well, big man, when you're right, your right: never eat anything bigger than your head. Proof of the soundness of this advice was found recently in the everglades: http://www.heraldtribune.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20051006/NEWS/510060326

well, that's about it for now. Keep on keepin' on...
